In the end, you’ll probably get less than if it had been properly priced at the start. The home becomes “shop worn”
  • Wasted time and energy. A bank appraisal is most often required to finance a home. If  a buyer can not get a loan, then the buyer can not buy. A smart cash buyer most always adds a stipulation to the purchase contract that the home must appraise for at least the purchase price. So it has to appraise. Period!
